No Proximity Sensor

I received this phone as a Diwali gift. Unlike most of the smartphones, this stupid phone doesn't even has proximity sensor. Lack of proximity sensor makes it an annoying job to disconnect a call. You first have to press physical button to switch on display, then double-tap on touch screen to unlock the phone and finally a tap to disconnect the call.

Junk phone at premium price.

Do not believe the fan boy reviews like the one below. Below 8500 you got a lot of cool phones. Lumia 510 is available at 6500 and 520 is available in the same price. Samsung is making money by selling poor hardware in the name of Android.

Don't be fooled by the Samsung Brand Image.

If you are willing to spend 8,500 RS to buy this phone, then I sincerely request you to check the mobiles from other brands available at the same price, they are way better than this. It is not worth spending this much amount of money on this phone. Micromax bolt has same specifications and comes for around 4,500 Rs. Samsung Phone is over priced.

Pathetic......

Pathetic specs. Good for nothing phone. It is simply a common sense, why would anybody buy such phone. Samsung stop throwing your junk and waste in india and do something which is worth its money. I would not pay a single penny for this.

Doesn't worth 8.5k

Only drawback of this product is its price.. Based upon the hardware and configuration correct price of this product should be 6.5k-7k

I mean if you can spend 8.5k why wont you buy Galaxy S Duos which is just 800rs more and better in every aspect than this..

Peace of shit.. better go with Micromax, Xolo and Spice which have way better verities with way less price..

S duos is much better than this

very much identical to SG S Duos, but why to compromise on few good features such as 5MP autofocus camera, flash, secondary camera. Yes, trend wins with jelly bean. But again this would hardly matter in these budget kind of phones. Specs on flipkart does not speak anything about GPS, proximity sensor. In all ways SG S Duos wins over SG Trend.
