The screen is what most people are complaining about but I'd say that on the whole, with the usual usage, one rarely notices it.Of course, its not going to be a good phone if you are planning to do a lot of screen-size intensive activities like watch movies or read books. This phone is the best value for money in the under 10k category (as of at the time of writing the review) because of the following

1)Awesome Software: Android 2.3.5 which is one of the best mobile operating system at the moment (Ice Cream Sandwich or 4.0 isn't available in India yet)

2)Good Hardware: 832 Mhz processor, which is great enough to help you run the software on this phone, almost seamlessly

3)Almost all other features that you want in a smartphone

I am using this phone from last week. I red so many reviews from Flipkart reviews for vrious phone and finalized with this model.

Pros:

1. Less cost
2. Getting latest version of OS and high speed of processor.
3. Good Camera. 2MP camera does this job very well. (I am not interested in High MP since I have another digical camera with me).
3. All the features of Samsung Ace exists in this model except 5MP camera, flash LED, 3.5 screen size and high resolution).

First of All want to share about the Ram details with this Android Machine.I am sure u didn't find the ram details anywhere else. This Machine has 290 MB of Ram. I call this phone as Machine coz i feel that this is a pocket Android powered Machine.
The Performance of this phone is very good.
1. Speed : very nice . I am unable to hang this phone yet.
2. Display : Clear and attractive .
3. Camera : Clicked photos are very clear better than other 2 mp cameras.

This phone is the best catch for the price. The current OS version is 2.3.6, which eliminated the restart problem mentioned by below posters. Earphones quality and screen size are a backdrop though.

Well I feel the 290mb RAM which comes with the phone is insufficient, considering the number of background apps I run. The processing power of 832MHz is very good for multitasking. The keypad button size is a pain, but if we rotate horizontally, the keypad becomes big enough for typing convenien...

Cons

1) Poor Battery life
2) Small Screen (Old granny cant sent SMS from this phone !)
3) Normal Camera (Not great quality, but ok just to take travel pictures for blogging - timepass)
4) No Flash or Torch light (flash light as torch light)
5) Poor speaker output

Pros,

1) Excellent 5.1 stereo output on headset.
2) Swype works great, Young people and frequent sms'sers would love to use it.
3) GPS/GPRS/3G/Wifi - wow rocks
4) Value for money, on earth !
5) Excellent OS updates from samsung

PRO'S :

First My Hats-off to Flipkart Service... Ordered on 22nd Feb 6am Morning Receivev on 23rd Feb 5 pm.
It's my first Samsung mobile,was nervous to switch from NOkia to Samsung...But I was wrong. A Supeeeeeeeeer Mobile..... the Gaming Exprnce is toooooo Good. Fast Faster ..... or say Fastest in it's category.
Camera a lttl bit disappointd.. but chalta hai.... Music is also Good....

Well. Its simply awesome experience. I would say excellent concept and design. The manufacturer has laid stress on parts like Touchscreen (which is Super Smooth, awesome), OS (Android v2.3, something beautiful), and design (looks like Small iphone4). manufacturer has reduced the cost by using some ordinary external material specially that Backcover, very ordinary plastic has been used, that has subsidized the cost.
