After much of drama i received this laptop yesterday.The packing from flipkart was perfect and was well cushioned to survive any transit damages ( if at all any ).
The laptop has a glossy finish on the top ( blue ) and the rest of it is some kind of strong plastic which certainly looks durable.

Now for some quick pros and cons :

PROs :
1.The machine is meant for gaming . The dedicated GPU and iGPU work like a dream.Tried out a couple of games like crysis 2 and farcry 2 , they worked pretty ...

I bought this this laptop 20 days back..Now the price is increased by 2000 ,i dont know why.

This is a very good budget gaming laptop. Plays games like dirt3,fifa,crysis,nfs mw 2012 etc in high settings without issues.
Battery is good above 3 hours in all cases. Heating is not an issue,gets a bit warm when playing games which is normal
I faced some validation problems while upgrading to Windows 8, Microsoft support guys asked to send a scanned copy of invoice which resolved the problem .

AMD DUAL GRAPHICS 1GB great performance.
6GB RAM more than enough.
750GB Hardisk Drive you dnt wanna need another external storage for your lap in minimum 6months...and so on

This is an excellent laptop for a 35K price tag. It's light (compared to my other Acer) and the keyboard is very convenient. I work with numbers a lot so I love the fact that it has a full number keypad on the right (most 15.6 inchers do)

The screen is matte and excellent for viewing in bright conditions - so in a coffee shop I don't have to really worry about reflections.

I upgraded to Win8 which makes load times very cool. And 6 GB Ram is excellent for most of the stuff I run - SQL, Dev ...

I ordered this laptop on Sunday, and it got delivered on Wednesday. Flipkart service was as always awesome! Packing was absolutely shockproof. Keep up the good services.


Writing this review after one fare amount of usage. Laptop looks very nice, glossy blue color. And anti glare screen which i liked the Most.

+ve points :

1. APU Quad Core A8 4500M : Trinity architecture. It easily beats intel ci3 3rd gen and even matchable performance with Ci5 3rd gen, P.S. Please do not underestimate AM...

I bought it from snapdeal as it was out of stock here. Used it for 20 days till now.

1.No heating issues.
2.Believe me, Windows experience index will be 5.9, which is greater than any i5 powered laptop. i5 powered laptops have at max 5.5 rating.
3.Amazingly fast laptop at this price.AMD Quadcore A8 is very powerful processor, and combined with 6gb ram it becomes awesome. Can run any game. Can do daily tasks without any hanging or freezes.

After looking for 3 months for laptops , i finally bought this one .
first of all i loved the anti-reflective screen , i read many pdfs , watch movies without harming my eyes , also it has no heating problems .
the battery backup is good , its upto 5 hrs (on 100% charging) . there's no compromise on sound quality.... the AMD A8 processor is far ahead of intel i3,i5 and i7 1st gen in terms of performance and price .
also it has a lot of extra features like fast boot , fast shutdown , 3D sound...

I use lot of Graphics Processing and Crypto Algorithms.... AMD Quad Core rocks and performs better than my 1.6 GHZ i7 with 8 cores bcos AMD can clock at 3.1 GHZ with 4 cores !!

I was surprised by this test but AMD support for floating point operations if phenomenal.

Only one downside .... it warms up a bit but that is what u expect with AMD and its POWER

I intended to use this machine mostly as work pc at home with some games thrown in to enjoy. It does neither of two work to satisfaction.
As compared to similarly priced i5 chip the processor is at least 30% slower while compiling code. The office applications are smooth but true multiprocessor tasks like 7-zip, compilation, jom, etc. are noticeably slower.
For Gaming I tried NFS first generation or second gen I am not sure(launched 2002-2008). The game was not smooth and lot of frames went ...
