I bought much cheaper as compare to market price. First time I am using AMD processor so can not tell much about this laptop. before I always use intel.

Sound / video quality is good same as that of HP g6 2010ax

This laptop comes with great hardware specs. A8 APU performs on par with low end i5 processors. And the dedicated graphics card has got an amazing 3DMark benchmark performance on par with GeForce GT 735M. You will get a very good gaming performance. At 6GB its got ample RAM. The performance of the 5400 rpm HDD is a bit slow but, 1TB is a plus. You will be very happy in the long run with the non-reflective display. People might initially fall for the glossy display but, will soon be annoyed by...

Track pad does support side scrolling. It uses multi touch gesture, you need to scroll with two fingers sideways. Pinch to zoom, windows 8 specific edge scrolling is also supported bringing out some special actions. Windows 8 is awesome, you just need to learn it a bit..Once you select desktop from home screen it's pretty similar to windows 7.
