Samsung ST65 belongs to the ST Series of point and shoot cameras. This 14.2 megapixel camera comes installed with a CCD image sensor. Loaded with the Samsung 5x zoom lens, this camera has a focal length ranging between 4.9 - 24.5 mm and 27-135 mm in the 35 mm equivalent format. The compact camera is portable as it weighs just 110 g, without battery and memory cards.

This point and shoot camera measures 17 mm in depth and has an ultra-slim design with a lot of performance. The Samsung ST65 is capable of recording HD videos at the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (30 fps). This compact camera has a unique Beauty Shot feature that can automatically remove dark circles, facial blemishes and other imperfections to create and capture great portraits. The 2.7-inch TFT colour LCD monitor of this compact camera has a resolution of 230,000 dot pixels.

Battery, Storage and Connectivity

This Samsung camera has Rechargeable BP70A battery. The camera has an internal memory of 19 MB, which can be extended by using the SD and SDHC memory cards. To maintain the storage space in your camera, you can also use high-speed USB 2.0 to transfer the existing pictures immediately.

Performance

The ST65 has TTL contrast detection Auto Focus with modes like normal, macro and auto-macro. The normal mode has a range of 80 cm (Wide) and 100 cm (Tele), the macro mode of 5 - 80 cm (Wide) and 100 cm (Tele) and the auto-macro mode of 5 cm (Wide) and 100 cm (Tele). This Samsung camera can automatically adjust its sensitivity between the ISO 80 - 3200.

The shutter-speed of Samsung ST65 ranges between 1/8 ~ 1/2,000 seconds and provides clarity while the fast-moving objects are captured. This point and shoot camera has a fill-in flash which has a range of 0.4 - 3.5 m (Wide) and 0.5 - 2.0 m (Tele).
