Good Performance

1) Ok so I love photography and own an SLR. But I am not a professional photographer and do not earn a living out of it. So an 8GB was a good enough upgrade from my previous 4GB card. I never fill my card up but rather prefer to transfer photos to Lightroom immediately after a shoot.

2) My main issue was that it used to take a lot of time after a shoot to transfer the pics. The previous 4GB card was a class 2 with a read and write speed of 2MB/s. So I preferred to take a better performing ca...

Speed not as claimed by sandisk...

As usual flipkart's service is fantastic.... received it in 3 days...

Now the product -

Not as i had expected... Sandisk claims 30MB/s... but its not even close... tested it using H2Testw on a win7 pc... result is below

Writing speed: 13.1 MByte/s
Reading speed: 17.3 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4

speed isn't bad... could have been better... works well in my Nikon 16 MP camera... saves pics without any wait time instantly....

as far as the working of the product is concerned... work perfectly... ...

Not as big a step-up from Class 4 SD cards...

About the product, Sandisk 8 GB - Class 10

I didnot find major improvements in speed considering this was a Class 10 over Class 4; I did a test where I took 10 shots in burst mode and with the previous card it took 14.7 secs to process the images in-camera. With this card it took 12.9 secs. A bit faster but not as much to justify the...

Great price performance

What you really look for in these purchases is reliability and price. This product meets both needs and performs to satisfaction. I am not tech. savvy enough to comment on speed but can mention that it is much faster at writing than Class 4 cards by the same manufacturer.
Delivery and packaging was top class.

Just what I wanted...for a good price !

I needed this for my DSLR as the one provided was a 4gb class 4. Now I use this one as the primary card with the previous one as a bcup. Reading/writing speed is pretty good for my use and its weather proof too ! All in all, a decent bargain.

Perfect for Raspberry Pi

It works great with the Raspberry Pi Model B 512MB Ram. The build quality is good and class 10 is fast enough for converting my 2TB external HDD into a NAS drive. Now with XBMC on all my home devices I can stream live movies and it works fine without any lag.

I have loaded retropie into this SD Card and it works fine.
Serves the purpose for which it was bought for.

Great Buy for Money

This card is a must for every High end Point and Shoot camera users for its optimal performance without too much dent in the pocket. It really improves camera performance compared with freebies cards with camera. Especially recording FullHD videos and reviewing high resolution images.
Packaging and Delivery was as usual great from Flipkart which is now USP of flipkart.
I strongly recommend it!!

Fast: card memory and flipkart delivery
