A monster of a graphics card!
People who have been following the red team's graphics cards will know that the R9 290 and the R9 290X are monsters which could well trade punches with the GTX 780 Ti if only for its Achilles' Heel - HEAT.
The gfx cards heat up like literal frying pans upto an operating temperarture of 90 C. And AMD in a flash of abnormal stupidity had put in hair dryer like fans in their Reference cards. So , due to throttling , the true performance of these cards were never truly realized.

Battlefield 4 maxed @ 60+ fps
AMD introduced great GPUs as R9 290 series but they weren't able to design as good coolers for them.
Sapphire came to rescue and slapped a Tri-X cooler on them.
I am playing Battlefield 4 on ultra at 1080p, 150% res scale (no MSAA, 150% scale!!!!) from 4-5 hours and it is running at 45+ fps constantly. My case don't have that good cooling and ambient temp is like 36 degree so we can justify that higher than normal 81 degree max for these specific cards. Still it is 13 degree less than referen...

Awesome Supports 4k
Awesome and fast provides 60 fps average which is good for all latest games but it length is very long and uses better cooling technology which provides best temp at load

Excellent Card
All my games are running in max setting (resolution 1080). The card runs quite. Replaced r9 270x with r9 290. I can see the difference. Had to change my old mother board for the card to run. Thanks flipkart for assuring me for replacement if things went sour.

my PC now can handle maya animation( draging the time slider with 2 or more rigs smoothly)

almost all games it can handle i guess
played thief 4 with max settings.
temperature gone to nearly 70 C only
seems cooler card among r9 series

Value for Money on Performance.
This card is a monster. Had to chnage my cabinet because of the size of this card. I upgraded from an HD6970 and have no regrets. The 3 fans really help to keep this card cool. I have faced no issues with this card. All games released so far are running between 60 fps to 100 fps on ultra settings. I guess witcher 3 should put this card to the test, although I feel it should still sail though while running that game.

Great Card for future proof gaming
If you are at this page then you must know what you are buying and this card wont disappoint you either.
The price on flipkart is seriously high compared to other sites and offline shops, rather get it from there.
Dont think twice buy it , I have two of these cards on CF and I play ultra/high at 4k res without any stuttering.
