Germicidal Zone is an electronic device that produces ultraviolet C (UVC) light.[1] This short-wave ultraviolet light disrupts DNA base pairing, causing formation of pyrimidine dimers, and leads to the inactivation of bacteria, viruses, and protozoa.Uses of Germicidal Zone in our daily life: Used for drinking water treatment in order to kill microorganisms. Used to kill Germs & Bacteria on Fruits & Vetetables Used to Stop Fungus formation on cut fruits & Cut vegetables. Used for Disinfecting Packed food products including Milk & Batter packs. Also all our daily house hold products can be sterlized using Germicidal Zone without using anywater or cany chemicals. Note: This unit should not be used to sterlize hands or other areas of skin as UV radiation can causeskin irritation. Inbuilt Safety feature enables the auto cut off for UV lamp during accidental opening of Lid.
