1.) Anger
One usually becomes angry when things do not go his way, or when the other person does not understand him or when there is a difference of viewpoint. Many times we become angry when we are accused of being wrong whereas we believe that we think we are right. We think that we are right because of our perception, and the other person thinks that he is right. Often, it is when we have no idea of what to do next, have no foresight or intuition, that we become angry.
We damage our relationship with the people who love us the most. We want to give our children all the support, comfort and safety but our anger makes the children scared in their own house.
How to deal with angry people? When a machine gets too hot, you must leave it alone for a while and in a short time it will cool down. But if you keep meddling with it, you will get burnt.
Read on to get solutions to your anger relationship problems.
2.) Pratikraman: Freedom through Apology & Repentance
Every human makes mistakes against their will. People get trapped in their own mistakes and suffer incessantly. They have an earnest desire to be free from them, find inner happiness and progress toward their liberation.
The Tirthankars (fully enlightened ones) and the Gnanis(master of spiritual science) have given this world the only weapon to combat such suffering, and that weapon is the spiritual science of alochana, pratikraman and pratyakhan (alochana – confession of one’s mistake; pratikraman – asking for forgiveness and pratyakhan – firm resolve and determination never to repeat the mistake). Infinite beings have achieved the wealth of liberation through this weapon by destroying the root of the vast tree that grows out of hatred and abhorrence. The Gnani Purush, Dada Bhagwan, has expounded in his spoken words, the science of pratikraman, precisely as it is.
His spoken words are to be found in this and many other books; words which will prove invaluable to the aspirant of truth and liberation.
About the Author
Ambalal M. Patel was sitting on a bench of platform number three at Surat train station in India. What happened within the next forty-eight minutes was phenomenal. Spontaneous self-realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. During this period, his ego melted completely. From that time onwards, he became completely detached from all thoughts, speech and acts of Ambalal and he became a living instrument of the Lord. He called this Lord, Dada Bhagwan. “This Lord is fully manifested within me,” he told, to all he met. Furthermore, he added that, “The same Lord, Dada Bhagwan exists in all living beings.” The difference between you and me is that in me The Lord has manifested fully in me and he is yet to manifest in you.
His words became the foundation of a new, direct and step less path to self-realization called Akram Vignan. Through his divine, original scientific experiment (The Gnan Vidhi) he imparted this knowledge of self-realization to others within two hours.
Param Pujya Dadashri used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang(spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him.
This is a humble attempt to present to the world, the essence of his Knowledge. And great care has been taken to preserve his original words and the essence of his message.
