A great HDD, for anyone who wants lots of space, I got it on 17th June, & already transferred around 2 TB data, I only have USB 2.0 & transfer speed was around 25-30 MB/s. HDD stays really cool despite continuous usage of over 3-4 hours. It has to be connected externally to a power source, & that really restricts your mobility, if you are planning to use it with a laptop. However, USB cable as well as the power cable both have good length so it should not be much of a problem.

Been 3-4 years using this, everything works fine, just had one issue. The connection is loose. Kinda have to keep it in a specific angle to work with it. Rest is a great HDD

Everything is good with this disk and was best in the market (when I purchased it in 2013). I am satisfied with its performance. Transfer speed is better than the other brands I have used.
Only problem it has is its connection port, which is very sensitive and can get loose if not handled with care (for example if wire is not detached and hard disk is just put into bag, port is surely bound to get loose) and no solution to that. So, handle with extra care.

I ordered this item and got a slim 2TB drive. Its fast, 2tb capacity, lightweight and write speed is b/w 75 to 90. Though i get faster speeds on wd my passport ultra 2tb, but at the price benefit and 3 years warranty and 200gb onedrive storage, overall its a good deal.

I purchased this hard disk as an offer and got in 6299/- i.e. awesome deal and the hard disk is very stylish in look.
USB 3.0 makes it very fast while transferring any data. It comes with 3 years huge warranty in India. I checked as soon as I got the product. It does not required any external power supply and it's just plug and play.
I am really Happy after purchasing this product.

This disk have good data transfer rate and does not get hot in a continuous long time use. Also it is very robust, by mistake it was felled by me from around 6 feet 2 times but it only opened and after just fitting it is working fine, good job Seagate, only the problem is of very short USB cable and it is of special type, so rare chance to get same type of long cable, here improvement is required from Seagate. Over all it is good and go for it.

I preferred this over WD and i am bery much happy till date.
The transfer speed is very good both in USB 2.0 and USB 3.0
My cable has went down to be little loose after 1 and 1/2 years of use but that too because of soo much rough use.
I would say Seagate provide the best HD drives in the world.
WD is good but i would prefer Seagate coz i had used both of them and found Seagate to be more efficient and friendly.

Dont go on some losers writing false and foolish review about Seagate.

I have been using this product for almost two years now and still it is working perfectly fine. It works very silently and the speed is also awesome. Also the backup software provided is very useful for backing up personal data instantly. My laptop went bad and thanks to this hard disk I was able to retrieve my data as it had been backed up on it. Sincerely I have not been able to find any fault in it even after two years. I would highly recommend this product as it is a great one from Seagate.

Find same HDD in other site 2 years ago , but purchased from flipkart .
Work good seems good at genuine price
