Kudos to Flipkart for their fast service and I am already using a Seagate external 500 gb hard drive and so I know how sturdy and reliable Seagate as a brand is. So bought this without a hesitation and everything is great and you can anyday rely on seagate to keep your data safe. Transfer rate is also fast.

I have been using this product for past 1 month and then writing the review. Most people write reviews just after buying the product...which is like love at first sight..
I am very satisfied with this product the transfer speed that i got is remarkably good i.e.,32 mbps..
Also the automatic back feature of this device has saved my files from being lost because of file corruption...for which i am very thankful to Seagate..

After a lot of research and waiting I finally ordered this drive and my experience with the product and Flipkart is very good so far. Drive is compact and looks sturdy and durable. Transfer speeds are good (averages at 24 Mbs/sec with USB 2.0).
Some people may find the interface connector non standard but trust me its better than mini USB, you can also use your regular mobile data cable (micro USB) for data transfer in case the standard cable that comes with the drive is not available.

i ordered this product on 18th jan, 2014 and got delivery on 20th jan 2014.It was very nicely packed. So thumbs up to flipkart for that. And the brand itself suggest it quality, so have nothing to say about the product. you can easily transfer all files with a good speed, thanks to its USB 3.0 which can access easily with USB 2.0. i transferred almost 100 GB in half hour from my laptop. I am using this device for the past two months and it is good but in the last week it hanged three times and i had to disconnect and reconnect , but after that it had no major issues, previously i owned WD but it did not even lasted for 2 years hope this one lasts....

The drive is NTFS formatted out of the box and when you choose to connect it on mac, First time you have to install the paragon software present on the drive or you can download from seagate site anytime. I have used this product for last 2 months and mainly as the source of media storage.
I have uploaded around 300 GB data at one shot and got a writing speed of 30-35 mbps consistently thru a USB 2.0 connection and it did not get warm or anything like that.
When i connected to my media player/TV and played content from it I got a good performance as well.

It is a user friendly product. It can be used and made functional quickly with fast response. It is handy, light and convenient. The actual GB in this hard disk is 970 because of loading of important software in it. The outer wall could have been better built with more solid and stronger material. I got this hard disk delivered to me quicker than what the Flipkart mentioned on my purchase order. I express thanks to the Flipkart.
