I got the product a month ago, Initially I tried transferring nearly 200 GB data from my internal hard disk to this one. The transfer speed was good in USB 2.0 it was around 25-30 Mbps as the number of files are very great. At times it even went to 40 + Mbps.. I haven't tried it with USB 3.0. But i'm very much satisfied with the performance.

But i don't see any difference in STBU1000302 (Rs.5400), STBU1000300 (Rs.4300) except the color and a vast cost difference.

But for for it now, because...

I bought this product last week from Flipkart, this is a nice HDD with small formfactor which fits nice for small workspace. Lightweight, elegant and sturdy build. It's operation is noiseless, I am using it on USB 2.0 connection and operations seems on par to my old 500GB drives. No complaints so far.
Flipkart service is good as usual.

Seagate Backup Plus is simply superb. The data transfer Speed is good. Worth for your money the best back up device. I recommend to buy this product.
