Friends this is the best HDD from 2TB section,
It just takes a few clicks to share whole albums online, although you’ll still need to visit each respective webpage to tag or rename your files. Of course, Seagate Dashboard can also perform automatic backups of your important data, so you’ve always got a second copy of it in case your PC’s hard disk fails.

Intelligent Backup Solution for Homes and Small Office
I have a stupid tendency of Shift+Deleting folders thinking that I don't need it anymore and then realize that holy-crap I needed it. I bought this after doing a lot of research.
Main selling points: The Device switches on and off with the PC and you don't have to specifically switch it off. Second, inter-operable with Win 8 and Mac. Since other HDDs are Read-Only on a Mac.

i have been using it for around 8 months or so ...
Pros: * transfer speed is just awesome.. min 44 kbps and max 75 kbps (on usb 3.0)
* ample space to store all your precious work, games and everything else
* elegant casing... and not just elegant but useful also.. it has 4 rubber pads on its base so it doesn't slip and fall from your desk..
* length of power cord and usb cord is good enough for me
cons: CONS are there.. but only if you are go...

Awesome
I have been using this product since the last 3 years and never has been a single dull moment while taking backup from my machine. I just love this product. Don't think too much. I guess it's the best product in the segment that money can buy. I get speeds usually in excess of 40 Mbps while transfer and this more often that not is faster than transferring files from C to D to E drive within the PC.

Good for Backup
A really good HDD for use as a backup solution.
A bit big compared to other external HDD's and requires power connection so not really ideal for those looking for a portable solution.
But if you're looking for a HDD to backup all your stuff and don't need to move it around, then this is a really good option.
