So for the first 6 months, the hard drive worked like a dream but then all of a sudden it stopped working.

The Hard drive was delivered well in time ... all was going vanilla and one day ... the drive died ... not when i plug it in ... light flashes and shows nothing in my computer ... i plugged it in multiple laptops ... I have bought this product 3 days ago but not through Flipcart.
It comes with a single 3.0 USB Cable which can also be used in USB 2.0 Ports.And they do not give any pouch or cover but you can also buy one outside. It does not have a shiny plastic but has a good matte finish. But one the sides it has a scratch prone plastic, so better to buy a pouch to protect your beautiful device.

This is my 2nd hard disk from Seagate. The 1st was FreeAgent Go Flex 500 GB - worked for about 18 months. Developed an adapter problem. Now I bought this 1 Tb 2 months back. IT has probably developed an adapter problem once again. Been going through other reviews - many problems encountered by other users.
This warranty thing also sucks. No retrieval of data. Just replacement that too takes about a month. Prefer a Weston HDD. Some of my friends using it.

Seagate I have lost trust.

1) USB 2.0- Speed- UP 55 MBps DOWN 90 MBPS (Almost double of all other USB HDD)
2) USB 3.0- I have Not tested yet
3) Smaller then a Smart phone
4) Very light and As slim as a Smart phone and Hight and width le are lesser then a smartphone
5) Very responsive and No Vibration or Heat problem even if you use it for many hours continuously
6) No separate Power source required

Cons-
1) Handle with care as I dont expect the Plastic case to be very thick as the product over all is very slim

I compared many products through various sites about the best 2TB Harddisks available out there and found this to be the best.I decided to order from Flipkart as it had the lowest price for this model.

It was great for about a month and suddenly one day, it wasn't recognized either by the explorer or by the disk management. The light stops glowing and the disk is not detected. I tried it in different computers on different ports and with a different USB cable, nothing helped. Seagate was great once, but now, it's not worth it's name.
