If maintained properly this HDD is good enough to last 3+ years. Transfer speed is more than 55 MBps + for me as I have old laptop.

Excellent product. Tiny, light weight, never gets heated up even after more than 10-12 hours of constant usage (you feel little warmth of HDD body, that's all). I am especially happy with its high rate writing speed. IMPORTANT : The USB 3.0 cable should be put into USB 3.0 slot of computer. Otherwise with USB 2.0, the writing speed gets reduced drastically. This is quite natural, you see.

Now I have more than 5-6 pieces of this 2TB product. No failure, no disappointment....
