Very good product.. probably one of the best looking external hard disk available.. sleek and compact. It really exceeded my expectations.. the new seagate metallic logo also gives it a classy look. and at Rs. 3733.. it couldnt be any cheaper. Nice decent transfer rate and no heating issue also.

I had a 1 TB version of the Seagate backup plus for more than 2 years and still works perfectly fine to this day. very portable and small form factor. The 2tb version is the same size as the 1 TB version and is very quiet. It gives a top writing speed of about 80 to 100 MBps when transferring videos and probably little slower for documents. The warranty works in India. I was able to successfully register on the Seagate site and get 200 GB cloud storage for 2 years. Overall it was a great buy ...

The drive's speed is awesome, it copies movies at whopping 130 mbps.
The colour and quality of the body is wonderful, first time ever Seagate has got a metal and sturdy body. The 200gb of FREE Onedrive storage makes up for the price for the drive. Also flipkart delivered it in a day so it was a very good deal for me.

I was sick of formatting my HDs separately for windows and Mac so I decided to buy this 1Tb HD exclusively for Mac backup. It sure appeared pretty on screen but the real product is wayyyy classier. The metallic shade is cherry-red, sharp cut, feather-light with a bright slit of white LED and the silver seagate symbol. Transfer speed and compatibility with Mac book air is awesome (faster than my WD 1Tb). Im in love with this product!
