just finished installing the drive ...took a long 4 hours...my benchmarking shows avg. Speed of 137 mb/sec against the quoted 210 mb/sec. enquired seagate forum and found that the drive has two version s/n- w1****** having two platter design giving 160-170 mb/sec nd s/n-w2 ****** with an avg. Rate of 130-140 mb/sec. Mine is the second one ..so is the difference in speed. The drive also ha s criching sound like the old 320 gb hdd. Got this product in decent packing. Amazing speedy delivey within 3 days by Flipkart. After reading reviews below i was taken a back to order this product which reportedly had a high failure rate. Im glad i got this in good working condition and works like magic. I did not hear any sounds from the hardisk as mentioned in other reviews and works just fine like any other Hard disk. May be its just few of them that had the flaws. I recommed this product to everyone and be fearless to buy.

Since the purchase, the HDD is working perfectly fine. The only problem I see is that it heats up more than my Seagate 1TB Drive.
Overall I am Very Impress with the Data Transfer rate.
Its a really Good HDD and I would Suggest to go for it, as with 6.5K price tag, its really worth it.

Just Formatted and Installed Genuine Windows 10 Pro. Working fine without any problems. Will recommend to buy. Buying 4TB Seagate HDD is cheaper compared to 2 TB HDD.

The hard disk is really fast for its class. It was as good as the cheapest hard drive of 2 TB capacity at the time I bought it. Price was a major constraint for me. All I wanted was a drive for backing up my data and the most important consideration was capacity. I m completely satisfied with my purchase :)

Reached quickly is good packing. Its been more than 4 weeks and the drive is doing great. Its extremely silent and cool ( temp). Performance is both OS/app load times is on par with the newest drives. Data transfer rates are as advertised ( touches 200 MB/s in seq reads )
The one shipped to me is a 1tb / platter model and not 667 MB which I am very happy about.

Had this ordered from flipkart 2 month ago, works like a charm, runs at 32 C, which is cool. Well its seagate what to say more. GO FOR IT!

The first which I got from flipkart did not work and I was nervous, but the replacement was done on my request and after that no turning back.. Hard disk is performing quite good and no issues faced till date.
Data copy is quite fast as well and some times reached more than 100 MB/s. And with 2 TB I have all space I required.
