Seagate Barracuda 2 TB Desktop SATA Internal Hard Disk Drive (HDD) (ST2000DL003)  (Interface: SATA, Form Factor: 3.5 inch)

I'm using it since last 3 months and I am amazed by the speed. Read / Write speed is simply lightning fast. 64mb buffer and 6 gb/s has done the trick. It is completely silent with no crawling sound at all. The only down thing is the price. I would recommend this as a blind purchase.

I am no computer geek. I was using a DELL desktop with 500GB storage and to upgrade my PC, I added this HDD to my PC by connected it to a SATA cable and a power cord. It got easily detected and I formatted it using the "Manage" option from right-clicking the "My Computer". It has been working smoothly since then. It gave me approx speed of 85MB/sec on transferring data to it from another hard-drive.

I GOT SEAGATE 2 TB HDD LAST YEAR I.E. IN MAY 2012. BUT AFTER WARRANTY IT STOP WORKING AND MY EXPENSIVE DATA LOST. I REQUEST NOT BUY SEAGATE PRODUCT AS NO LONGER WARRANTY AND POOR PERFORMANCE.
