Don't have 3.0 USB in laptop.. but it works superbly with 2.0 also..

2. Good speed, I got upto 25 MBps write speed in USB 2.0, and 95 MBps in USB 3.0.

Very good product for the price tag. Able to get 70mbps using USB 3.0. So quite happy with it .
I would recommend this product if you need extra space and do not want to shell out excess money. With service of seagate being a plus point, this is a good buy.
