I brought this drive in 2010 and since i have lost 2 times data in 2 years.
To lose data 3 times Seagate gives 3 years warranty to customer.
I will never suggest anyone to buy this product.
I am completely disappointed by this drive. Be careful by thinking to buy this product.

I bought this drive from flipkart in 2012 after two years of use this drive has gone bad. Now its not getting detected by any PC or laptop. My valuable data is lost.

good for 2 1/2 years but unfortunately the usb port of this harddisk did not work . this caused me to loose all my backed up datas.

i am writing this review lil late cause i wanted to check its quality. After using it for 3 years without any problem , now i can say i m fully satisfied with the product

No doubt this a good hard-disk, but mind you, this doesn't have USB 3.0 support. So, if you have a USB 3.0 support in your laptop or desktop, or likely to have in near future, you are missing a great deal here.

Very compact and easy plug n play hard drive. No fussy installations required, just plug in and start using it just like another partition on your laptop. There are some apps bundled with it which I have not explored so far.

Hi frnds this is very good external hard disk...I bought this for my frnd..its speed is nice as promised..rate is also less..Thnx to flipkart and bluedart..

Ordered this item on 25th Oct in between Diwali, still got it delivered on 'Bhaidooj'. 1 for Service
The rates gone up by 250 Rs today that's a feeling of escape.
but @ current amount its still 'Value for Money'.

The box reads USB 3.0 Upgradeable........Wow....
