A must have book for beginners

A must have book for beginners interested in exploring mammals. The figures are good, although the page quality could have been better, but is okay given the price range... Vivek Menon has done an excellent job in providing his enthusiasm in this book...the text and illustrations are great...go for it without any doubt.

N.B. It is not a field guide, although can be useful to some extent.. If you are looking for a field guide for Indian mammals, you can go for The book of Indian mammals by Viv...
