A journey of wonders and gems of human wisdom

This book follows the same odd pattern "search for the evil" but ends at same conclusion as at it began. Everyone is right and doing what they percive as good but still reader gets and makes all up-downs about various characters. Excited about last book in series, seems like i will be wise and learned man after that as these two books made me feel like :)

Good one with some qualifications..........

It is very nicely written novel but very hard to believe as a part of the history. Because no-where the references are given. The following questions come in my mind:
1. The writer has written that Sati is a widow, but all of us know from "Shivpuran" that sati is one Avatar of "Shakti" and got married to "Lord Shiva" after a lot of tapasya. No-where in the Shivpuran it is written that Sati is a widow.
2. As per Shivpuran Lord Shiva is known as "Neelkanth" because he has a blue throat. The thr...

Apt but not better than Immortals of Meluha

Sequel the Immortals of Meluha, The Secret of the Nagas is the continuation of the enthralling tale of a man who went on to be called God by people of India. As compared to the first book in the Shiva Trilogy, the second installment is bit led down interms of twists and turns. It some how becomes very predictable as what is going to happen next. Spelling errors were less. Few things seems out of the time of.the story. Many action scenes reminded me of hollywood movies. The story introduces r...

Secret of the Nagas

Hmm... well thought of plot. Personally I liked conversations between Shiva and Vasudevas. Few plots in the novel are not required or are streched unnecessarily. But overall the story is very gripping.
One of the big improvement I suggest is the English language could have been better and crisp. The novel lacks good english. The language used is somewhat english with hindi tadka.
