This seed requires a simple planting process. You can begin by soaking it in water for two to three days. Then, place the seed in a well-draining potting soil-filled container with the point side down, leaving one-third above the soil. Water the coconut regularly, ensuring proper drainage. Before planting, fill pits with topsoil and cow dung or compost. Create a small pit inside for the nut attached to the seedling. Plant the seedling, filling the pit with soil. In laterite areas, you can add up to 2 kg of common salt per pit to improve soil conditions. For optimal growth, apply up to 20-50 kg of organic manure per palm each year during the onset of the southwest monsoon in later years.
