    Wonderful asset

This book is one of the best books available in the field of semiconductor physics.
I also read Streetman book, both of them almost have similar contents.
But BG streetman book is so vague with monotonous writing and theory. This book is written in a excellent manner, to attract readers to jump into the text.

    Streetman
    1. Theory: Vague but complete
    2. Writing style: monotonous Theory
    3. Examples : ...

    Errors Present

Contains lot of printing errors. Much of the relevant examples were eliminated, almost 250 pages of contents were removed. Compared to its 3rd Edition this 4th Editions seems poor. I recommend 3rd Edition or 4th International Edition. Don't buy this 4th Indian Edition.

    Nice book for Semiconductor Physics

It is the good one for the semiconductor physics. It is written in easy language with suitable problem and explanation. The derivation of equation is also simple and understandable and give clear thought. This book is suggested my my Prof. during my M.Tech course work. It is one of the book liked by me so much .
I recommend this book for all the student who want to study semiconductor physics during there graduate level course work as well as for those who want to do research in Semiconducto...
