I bought this after much research across many brands. My criteria(not necessarily in the order mentioned):
- Value for Money
- Good build quality
- Around-the-ear headset
- As close to noise cancellation as possible.

The HD 215 checks most of those boxes. it comes with a very nice case that makes it convenient to carry around. I found the length of the wire a bit annoying especially when I am plugged into the iPhone in my pocket. The wire is far longer than the distance between my pocket...

I recieved this headphone today from flipkart ..it is a gift from my brother...i have used a lot of headphones before and i must say this product is just top notch in quality . Better than headphones of same price range of shure and audiotechnica .Sound is crisp and superdly detailed . I wanted a pair of headphones that I can use for DJing and Music Production. For this price, these headphones are pretty good. I'd say they're flat enough (less coloration) and give crisp sounds. You need the crispiness especially if you're an electronic music producer, so the HD215 is a good place to start for beginners.

Comfort-wise, I think, you can wear these for hours on end without even realizing it. Looks-wise, they're flashy enough (for a DJ).

Have been using these for 2 months now. Amazing sound.
Bass not very pumpy and loud, but I don't listen to lot of house or electronic.
Soundproofing not thorough, a little sound does leak to the surroundings if you are in your quiet office, and the music is loud.
Noise cancellation decent.
The reason I am giving this 5 stars is that, the sound quality is top class. The clarity. Amazing for music production.

ths headphones are gud for air conditioned room.. as ths are huge u may feel hot aft wearing it for longer period of time. bass of ths headphone are average bt sound quality are pretty gud. bt nothing to hype about

If you're in to really crisp and balanced music (do not expect unnecessarily pumped up bass), and you want real good headphones at a decent price, then this is the product you're looking for. They're a bit too large and people with short stature should look somewhere else. Do not expect good built quality, the plastic used is not that elegant looking but the sound quality makes up for that. All in all these are good. And yeah, the cord can be really annoying at times.

It's very nice . Just a little heavy and bulky. Otherwise sound is too good. Wire is also like telephone wire which gives good flexibility to stretch it and watch from distance

This is the review of the Sennheiser HD 215 II Review. I think they are pretty much good for such a low price. Nice sound quality. Comfortable but you have to get accustomed to it. But beware, this are not for the people who are looking for the ultra bass though it does it work on bass but not too much.

Must buy for the people who are looking a good headphone for low price

I was bent on getting this after watching Paul Kalkbrenner's "Berlin Calling". He uses the HD 215 to compose some truly dark and awesome music. Electronic with lots of bass and intense low notes.

With a good music player these bad boys will give a near-perfect experience by cutting out most of the environmental noise. If you're listen to anything that's above medium volume, be sure to look around now and then.. because you can't hear if people call you!
