I am using this product since 15 days. This shampoo is overall genuine and gentle on hairs. It has an ayurvedic composition and a required amount of foam causing chemical also, but that is not harmful.
It may seem a little strong but what I feel that it's only little and that's not harmful.
But I suggest one thing, it's effect highly depends on the way you use it. If you apply any shampoo in a rough manner and also repeatedly and daily, it will definitely cause damage.
