Shivam Uniyal is a vibrant, young, 19 years old writer, who has come up with his debut book, ‘She Returns’, which is a love story of four school friends. He has given the plot a Himalayan milieu to show the social and cultural fabric of the hills of Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. He has also tried to moot the issues like teenager’s psychology, stigma attached to inter-caste marriage, superstitions and sacrifice. He is fond of reading, writing, listening to music, traveling and watching movies. Presently, he is pursuing B.A. from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University, Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand. He has worked as an intern in an advertising firm, AAJneeti Advertising LLP, TBS planet comics at IIT Roorkee and the Times Of India Dehradun.
