If you are fond of Fountain pens and really have good collection of them . . . like LAMY etc. then Sheaffer Black ink offers a perfect combo. Ink is great, flow and colour is perfect. However, this review is only for SHEAFFER BLACK INK which i have purchased and highly satisfied using along with my LAMY safari FINE nib pen. I haven't faced any problem of Ink blockage, ink spreading over . . . I have earlier used PARKER QUINK, whose quality is no match to SHEAFFER Black ink.

Ink is super qaulity i just checket it with various temperature but it still in good condetion other ink may hard when it in cold condetion but it is good in all condetion i like to prefer it all of you i am a school admin so i refer to all for us

For writing enthusiast like me, who enjoy these little pleasure in life, this ink along with a good fountain pen makes you feel good about how you perceive yourself on a paper.

The blacks are really dark, however once it dries it's more of a dark grey, but that's negligible.
If it matters, well the bottle feels really good to hold (comparing it to camlin or camel ink bottles of course).

Only aspect I could wish for is, if it had the bolting paper like Lamy ink bottle provide.

Sheaffer Skrip Black is the best black ink. It is the ink which can be said to be True Black. I am using it in Parker Frontier Stainless Steel CT Fountain Pen, although it takes a bit longer time for drying than other inks, but after it dries it doesn't fades or lightens. It keeps it's sharp shiney dark black hue even after drying. And yes, it is also a bit Water Resistent!

It is also good for calligraphy pens. If you are searching for best black ink, then it is the one you were looking for.

This ink is by far one amongst the best quality inks that I have used. I think only Diamine beats this.

It writes very dark, a perfect black, and also flows very smoothly out of the nib. Remember that your pen gets corrupt if you use low quality inks such as Chelpark and Camlin. Thus, by using inks like these, the pen durability remains intact, and also the performance is unmatched.

This ink dries quickly on paper, is dark, the darkest I could manage to find online and is black in color (truly black not grey). If you like to write with a solid well defined letters I would recommend this ink to you.
For the quality and the fact that I could not find another ink that comes close to this quality at this price I will say this is the best option available.

but if u want the darkest black ink...go for Aurora, or Pelikan 4001

If u can afford more then the darkest ink for you is Noodlers Heart of Darkness

Ink is very bold black. Flow is good , ink colour is very thick , no staining on the other side of the paper,no feathering. Strongly recommended for those who want to do write something expressive. I'm in 12th so will be using this for my boards.
