Jeremy Brett is unbeatable as Sherlock Holmes! Fantastic series. Retains the originality of the Arthur Conan Doyle stories. Packaging is quite decent. Liked the art design especially on the spines. Little bit of trivia given about key characters is interesting. All DVDs play just fine. Plus got a great discount!

Gentlemen,do not waste your time and effort in buying this Boxed Set, as the DVD's are all defective. Every DVD in this set freezes up after about 30 minutes of playing. I have this set bought from Flipkart itself. Flipkart, as is their usual great customer care and response, will replace your Boxed Set, if you complain to them, but in the end it will cost you in time and money, as the whole lot seem's to have a inherent flaw, so there is no point in getting a replacement also.

I bought this set when the duscount was 50%. The first set was defective - the first DVD I picked itself froze after a minute. Flipkart sent me a replacement. The first 3 DVDs I tried (from different collections) worked fine. I didn't get time to try out all the DVDs. Recently, I tried one more, and it froze after a few minutes. It is now 30 days since the replacement was delivered - probably too late to seek a refund. I am very disappointed.
