Nothing makes a person feel more alive than a stunning thrill and what better way to experience thrills than by racing your heart out? A single-player/multiplayer online racing video game for the PC, Shift 2 : Unleashed was developed by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Electronic Arts. A sequel to Need for Speed: Shift, Shift 2 : Unleashed features more than 145 cars that have been created by over 37 manufacturers. Players can take part in various types of races on more than 36 tracks. Night-time racing, an in-helmet camera and the Autolog feature (social interaction system that allows friends to go head-to-head in races against each other and compare player stats) are highlights of this game. Furthermore, players can compete online against one another as well.
The interactive and entertaining Career Mode of Shift 2 : Unleashed lets players enjoy a more realistic racing simulation. Players can sharpen their driving skills by taking part in retro car racing, muscle car racing, endurance races, drifting and circuit competitions. A virtual Vaughn Gittin, a Formula D Champion, coaches and instructs the player on how to customize his car, how to drift, how to utilize the Autolog and much more so that he or she can head on to compete in the FIA GT3 and ultimately the FIA GT1 Championship. The Autolog system, now known as Need for Speed DNA, doesn’t only give track times for events but also segregates information based on race types, quick race tracks and automotive disciplines. Hence, if you want a captivating and authentic car racing experience, Shift 2 : Unleashed is the game you need to play.
