    Description

This is the story of Anurag Sinha, a desi boy who gets a scholarship to study in the University of Rochester in the United States. In India, he lives a pretty average life, but his life transforms into a roller coaster ride when he goes to the US.

    Summary of the Book

Anurag’s life in India was very normal and boring. He was called a nerd in school and had very strange family members. He would have never imagined that one scholarship would change his whole life. It began with Anurag getting a scholarship to study in the University of Rochester in the US. It was much unexpected and a delighted Anurag took up the offer. As soon as he was on the plane to the United States, things started to take a different turn in his life. First, he finds himself stuck in a restroom in Frankfurt with weird toilet rolls around him. He even manages to get himself a fancy white girlfriend, something he never would’ve thought of. He finds himself growing into a confident young man who has some of the best friends and is making the most of his life in America. In the end, Anurag isn’t sure if he should return to India or continue his fantastic life in America. This is a book that most youngsters who have gone abroad for studies might be able to relate to.

    An average book

Read if you have lots of leisure time and nothing better to do... Not much of a story... No twists in the plot.. We can read along with guessing what is gonna happen next and the author never dissappoints in that

A nice a Sweet book written by Karan. I really enjoyed reading this book. It was complete Laugh riot. While reading this book, I could not stop myself from laughing. Totally enjoyed reading the book. The Starting part was very Interesting to read. And the ending was bit Emotional. This book gave an important lesson: The life and circumstances can change an introvert person into extrovert and full of life. The same thing happened with Anurag...

    A nice book to read

A nice and entertaining book to read. A complete laugh riot. I laughed non stop while reading this book. Anurag's journey from Delhi to America was quite interesting. He met Lizzy during the journey and fall in love with her. She turned him into extrovert as he was a bit shy and unable to speak to girls. Later he met Aaron, Lizzy's boyfriend. The climax was a bit emotional. It is true circumstances can change anybody. Overall good job done by Karan. Must read.

    Missing Mr/Ms Copy Editor

The book strikes a cord at places with its depiction of a middle class Indian boy. But why such a pronounced America hangover? Also, I am surprised at the poor quality of copy editing, due to which, the book is absolutely littered with grammatical errors. Wish the publishers had bothered to spend some time & effort to edit the book.

    Easy read

The story is an easy read. Simple to understand, nicely written. Its about a boy who finds the better part of himself after going abroad. Though the ending is a bit cliched, its a good welcome attempt by the author.

It's an easy read and ...

If you are a lanky and diffident student aspiring to go to America, get unsolicited support from everybody there without exception, study at a top notch university while still working in the evenings,  snatch a beautiful white girl from her hunk boyfriend and still be unscathed, get laid by her all through the stay, earn a degree, relieve yourself of the girl by endearing her to the ex and fly back home with unbounded confidence of dealing with any girl here - Karan Puri's book would give you...
