    Description

Nominated Best Graphic Novel in India Comic Con India Award 2011.

Lord Shiva is the central figure of the Holy Trinity of Hindu Gods- Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu as the other two. Lord Shiva is hailed as a spiritual guide and destroyer of creation.

Lord Shiva taught the Vedas to Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu to facilitate the process of creation.

Lord Shiva is the epitome of devotion, spiritualism and vedic knowledge. Lord Shiva is also known as Bholenath (another name for Shiva) who rushes to the aid of his devotees if they are in trouble.

The tales of Lord Shiva depicts the importance of spiritualism in Vedic culture and the triumph of good over evil.

In the forthcoming Graphic Novels, authentic Hindu Mythology will be presented to you in inimitable Vimanika style. In each volume we will depict tales of Shiva, which reveal various aspects of Lord Shiva?s complex personality.

The book I of The Legends of the Immortal deals with the story of origin of the universe & Lord Shiva's marriage to Sati.

    I am fan now!

This is marvelous and beautiful. go get it. All illustrations and content is awesome and breathtaking...
I want to see more of this.

I also liked the length of story compared to moksha's short books.

Another plus was the authenticity and really this is indeed tales of forgotten.

A Comic that engages the senses

From the moment I saw the trailer and teaser promos for this comic, I knew I had to read it. When I did...I was blown away! I recognized the stories from the Shiva Purana and when I saw them brought to life almost by the cinematic art, it was as though I was watching the events occuring. I celebrated with the characters, cried with them. It was a fascinating experience to read this comic...ESPECIALLY with the music that accompanied the book. Perfect in every which way! Can't wait for the rest...

    Beautiful

Finally read Shiva TLI, It was a beautiful book, brilliant art panels, vibrant colors, came to know lots of things from the book. However in my opinion art would have done more justice if it had been on glossy/shiny paper(like those of sixth/dashaavatar etc).

The first superhero of Indian Mythology comes alive

Shiva is undoubtedly the first superhero of Indian mythology and Vimanika has succeeded in showcasing his true grandeur. The graphic novel captures true essence of Shiva's spiritual nature.
