It's better than the movie. Although if you have already seen the movie i recommend not to buy it. You will not be able to use imaginative part of your brain and only the scenes from movies will flash in front of your eyes.

Thrill and suspense just got better and better with very amazing concept of story. Hard to understand but the great suspense of the book keeps your eyes on the book. All the pages filled with new suspense and trilling experience to read this one. All crime and trill stories usually have same kind of story-line but this one rocked me and this will be my best book of my collection.

Amazing work by Dennis Lehane. This edition is perfect movie tie-in and worth to read. Go for it. Worth buying.
Starts with the journey on a ship and ends amazingly with an amazing twist. No doubt it was the best seller in it's time.

This is is one of those books ( and Lehane is one of those rare breed of authors), that keeps one engrossed till the very end. And as for the ending...wow! One of the most intriguing finishes I have ever read.
A complex plot neatly told with some stupendously innovative verbalism, Shutter Island isn't shy of anything with regards to both plot and characterization and language and style.

Good book! No fault on Flipkart but the book is the same copy of movie. I mean there must be some difference, but in this book it expresses the movie more intimately, so I recommend readers to read the book first and then watch the movie

This is not a paperback version. It's a Mass Market Paperback (MMPB). This book is smaller than the the other MMPB books I own. But the text size is normal and paper quality is decent. This version contains around 414 pages.
