Having owned the Soundmagic ES-18, E30, E50s, this one came out as refreshingly different. First of all, the C-12 is extremely bass-heavy (the Soundmagic ES-18 and E50 had more controlled bass), while maintaining surprisingly good clarity! Setting the equalizer properly can get you an extremely rewarding listening experience, with treble and clarity comparable to the E30, and bass comparable to Sony. I have used a lot of earphones, but this one came out as the best one out of dem all...sound quality awsome, even at top volume it doesn't hurt your ear as much as other does.
