Pros: Great value for money, sturdy, ventilated.
Cons: heavy, requires external power supply.

Personally i prefer external HDD with no external power supply requirements. I have just received this product but am gonna return it for above reason. BTW it comes with a power adapter.

If you dont mind the power adapter issue, I would recommend you this product.

Seriously regretted getting this. Failed couple of times. Wasn't able to get proper customer service. Didn't get a replacement. Lost a lot of sensitive data. The worst buy ever

Connecting issue. Dead in 3 month. Got replacement but not brand new. It was opened piece may be repaired one. I have to spend courier charges to send to service centre. Bad experience with it. Please go with segate...

I bought this product from flipkart in the hope that I could make use of its massive storage! Unfortunately, both for me and for them when I got the product it was dead. I attempted to format the hard drive from Mac OS X, Windows and Linux all in vain.

So, they gave me a replacement hard drive, which also failed to start up. At that point I was fed up and asked for a full refund.

Very disappointing for a seemingly good product.
