Simon Singh, unfortunately, does not receive as much credit as he deserves. He has this brilliant ability to simplify complicated theories and embellish it so that a regular impatient reader might find it interesting and worth-while. I bought this book out of sheer curiosity because i am a huge fan of the Simpsons! I just couldn't put the book down. Will appeal to geeks as well as fans of Futurama as well!

I was interested to know that the Simpsons are much more about mathematics than they appear, although we have all experienced it once in a while, but nobody actually pinpoint that fact to us, all the while focussing on the creators "Knurd-y" background. The book appears to have more average american cliches than the Simpsons, and being an Indian, I could relate to the Simpsons better than I could with a few chapters of the book. I was attracted to the 'Indian sounding name' of the author, but...
