Aru. Arulselvan was born in 1961. His native place is Rayagiri village in Nellai district. He studied and grew up in Karaikudi, Sivagangai District. He has been living in Chennai for the past 40 years. His parents are gods. Amma in Anbu-Arunachalam Veluma. Father was a Tamil writer and worked in Tamil. In the towns of Chettinad; Bhavendra Bharathidasan brought the poet Kannadasan etc. and conducted literary gatherings well. Arulselvan, who received Tamil heritage through his father, has been engaged in writing for more than 30 years. Initially he started writing poetry and then continued his writing work in various genres like essays, short stories and plays. His works have appeared in magazines, radio and television. He has published ten books so far.
