Sita's Curse: The Language of Desire

The book no doubt explores the intricacies of women sexuality midsts a semi backward, latently progressive setting of Indian suburbs. Yes, the book is a brave attempt. However it gets slightly lost into physical aspects of sexuality where at certain points one feels that the author has pushed in sex where it didn't seem much needed.
Maybe thats what the author had meant. I have read some books in this genre , however, this book is brave but thats about it. I would have expected the colourful...
