“Hi, my name is Zara. At my place, there is always a sale. Clothes 100% off” Rishabh is bombarded with weird innuendos in his search for his future wife. Rishabh’s reluctant journey into the world of marriage works in tandem with his journey into the world of stand-up comedy. His journey is full of starts and stutters as his career graph moves like a yo-yo much like his search for a bride. He has theories of how to get married but is anyone listening to his theories. Shreya, a banker by profession, is excited as she embarks into a potentially blissful married life with her childhood sweetheart Gaurav. They plan a pre-wedding trip- Scuba diving in the Kraby Island of Thailand. But little did she know…. “Look even Priyanka is getting married. She got 63% in boards and she is even plump. Yet she has found someone and not you” Bombarded by her father’s taunts, follow Shreya in her hilarious quest to be married, reluctantly at best, burdened by societal pressures. The book traces the very relatable journey of two unconnected individuals, Rishabh and Shreya, woven around the peculiar and often hilarious world of the Indian marriage system.
