EPIC!!!!!!!!

I don't know what to say. I had completed reading this buk jus now @10 pm on 10-11-2012 and I think this book has everything required. this buk is an easy read with unforgettable characters and with plot moving at break neck speed with a lot of first class thrills and twists. the author is a master in bringing out the lives of rich and poor and the chawls and 5 star hotels to life. I could see the murder right b4 my eyes and i am laughing with tears in my eyes at 1 point and flushing with rag...

Indian Masala

First of all - this is more of a masala book which a lot of Indians would relate to.

Not a thriller / mystery per se... but more of stories culminating to form the climax.

Character buildup is good - and that what keep you turning those pages. The climax at the end - well most of us would like it!!!

Somehow I liked this better than Q&A....

Holds your interest

This book definitely holds your interest till the end. This is a typical masala story with well narrated characters and the plot. There are enough turns and twists in the book to keep you reading and guessing. I recommend reading this book.

(NOT) A GOOD READ

If you are looking for a mystery, thriller or a crime book, this is not for you. This is just a plain drama about 6 inter-related characters with a murder plot.

The start of the book is interesting but the character descriptions and their mundane lives drag on endlessly.

The author has tried to show the general lives of Rich, Powerful, Poor, Slums etc. in India.

Definitely NOT a Murder Mystery.

Awesome murder mystery

This is how suspense stories should be. Definitely one of the best suspenses ever written by an Indian writer. The way Mr. Swarup has mixed up the characters and the climax that simply emerges in the end... wow! Can't describe it. Best to read it alone so that no one disturbs!

Excellent Book

I thought the book was a very interesting read. The characters developed well, though a couple dragged a bit in the middle, but everything came together at the end. The twists came fast and the story took a wholly different turn at the end. Worth a read.

SATISFACTORY..

Its a good read but some part are definitely boring..based on some parts of real life crime stories ...the climax is also inspired from the movie "the wednesday"...I expected more from Vikas Swaroop after reading his bestseller " question and answer"...
