Karna - The Legend...

Excellent work of art, coloring, and an incredibly awesome storyline to go along. This has been well executed by author Karan Vir.

I did not like the small book size though... small text printing :-( kinda took the breath out of me. The book size is like that of Archies comics. The FREE poster that they are offering is a shame. It's the size of two side-by-side pages of the book. I am rating it 4 Stars instead of 3, just because of the content.

Commendable Effort - Waiting for the next part !!

To start off, this was my first Vimanika comic book that I purchased and read. Prior to these comics, the only 'mythological' comics that I had read had been either Amar Chitra Katha or the India Authentic Series. So, I always felt that Indian Mythology had lot of untapped potential in the comic world, which Vimanika has rightly starting tapping. Compared to Greek mythology, I feel that ours has more mysticism and a 'wow' factor associated with it. It's not immortal humans whacking each other...

Does the job

Well the book is average, except for the faulty binding, ridiculously small dimensions and damaged casing and cover. Ya, those are some serious downsides. The only good thing about the book is the part with Hemant's artwork. The story although good, is not even close to a finish, even after soo many pages, it doesn't really move far. Even for ₹249 this book is nowhere near the money's worth. The free poster is small just like the rest of the book. I applied for a refund as soon as I got it,...

Good story, brilliant artwork.

I am a comic addict and have read lot of different publications. But, vimanika somehow passed under my radar.
And when I read it, i wanted more of it.
First the delivery, i placed a pre order and had to remind flipkart for sending the book which they finally sent after a week of reminder. so much so for pre-order.
but, book is worth all accolades. Awesome colors, well defined characters and a good story. What left me disappointed was, wait for rest of series :)
Hope vimanika hurries with ...

Superb collection!

***** Revised ****: I would like to update my following review of the Sixth. Just finished reading it and the binding came off in the course of reading and found that the story is incomplete (which I was not expecting for a collected edition). VC guys, you need to tighten up the loose strings before comic lovers make a perception about your products! Downgrading the rating to 3 stars.

Why is it incomplete and no follow up?

All the objections raised in the reviews, the only one I am for is the size of the book is small and the free poster is too small (hell, can't even call it a poster). But other objections are not so. The small size actually feels compact to be honest. Those who complained about text size, see a good eye specialist immediately. The story is fun. A bit clichéd, but fun. The worst part is that I have to wait for the rest of the story to follow. Hoping that the time they take to publish further i...

Poor print!

This is NOT worthy of being a collection issue. The comic is really small - half the size of an A4 page. The font is very small and the cover it comes in is very flimsy.

PLEASE AVOID.
