I highly recommend Social Networking for Career Success by Bittu Kumar. It goes through a myriad of social networking tools and processes in a step by step way that enables the reader to become familiar with and leverage on-line tools. It provides examples from people that show how the tools work and can have an impact. It is accessible and easy to follow and yet gets into enough depth to be really useful.

The only reason I ordered this book was I had some funds left on my gift card. The book was a waste time, its meant for people with zero knowledge of internet/pc. And selling dreams of making millions of internet/social networking, which isn't practical.
If you want to learn how to make gmail account, read mails, or send mails, get adsense account, or write a blog, or how to create product pages on facebook, google, etc, then this book is meant for you. But if you are smart enough to order on...

There's an ocean of rubbish written about Social Networking by people who stretch two articles of content into a book-length shell, eccccchhhh! I picked up Bittu's book and read it. I put down Bittu's book when I finished. I immediately picked up the phone to call him, and hired him as the social media consultant for an upcoming project. This book is practical, easy to understand and to-the-point, and in my work that's the highest praise you can give.
