I have great pleasure in authoring the book titled “Software Engineering for Software Engineers & Students” as per Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Ananthapur Syllabus. The book is written in simple and elegant manner. The book contains five chapters based on five units of the syllabus. It is very much useful to fresh software engineer. It is a concise version of ‘Software Engineering A practitioner's Approach’, Roger S Pressman, sixth edition McGrawHill International Edition.Chapter 1 deals with software, process models and agil development model. Different types of process models are explained here.Chapter 2 is about Requrement engineering, Requirement modeling and deals with requirement modeling webapps.Chapter 3 focuses on Design concepts such as Architecture Design and Component level design.Chapter 4 deals with User interface design and Web App. And also discuss about the Object Oriented Hyper Media Design method (OOHMD).Chapter 5 concentrates on Software Testing, Testing strategies, Tsting Conventional Applications, and Object Oriented applications. At the end of the chapter ,Multiple chioce questions, short marks questions with answers and long answer questions are provided to understand the portions thoroughly.
