This is the story of Ulrich and his dreams that take him on a journey through an era of fierce politics, music, lost love and chemistry.
Summary of the Book
Ulrich has two passions – the violin and chemistry. His father, however, is not too keen on Ulrich playing the violin. Therefore, Ulrich moves to Berlin to study chemistry. When his father faces major financial issues, he is forced to leave his studies and come back home to Bulgaria so he can take care of his parents. This is where the second part of the book starts. We are introduced to a world that Ulrich creates in his dreams. This world includes the life that he has lived combined with a life that he had imagined for himself.
