she belongs to the "elite" anti India class which had closed its ranks against any other rational point of view, she ruled the roost n we were fed just one side of history all our schooldays.
still remember after finding a very photogenic Nehru atop a pony during spanish revolution and wondering ,how the heck this photo op helped the revolution?

Overall give multiple side perspectives. surprised at a strong comment from such a historian...! Treating Gujarat roits as "genocide"(page 194). Its critical for a secular society to visit / revisit historical validites and Here the author does a good job. Nevertheless a above average read.
