The connecting wire is loose
The only problem i am facing with this product is regarding the connecting wire.The wire is so loose that even a slight touch disconnects the device from the system.
I am happy with the downloading and transfer speeds,and not to forget the fast delivery of flipkart.Look is good and price is also affordable.
Overall,the product is good except the connecting wire.

This is awesome! SONY rocks!!
My earlier SEAGATE HDD got corrupted, it had problems like too much of vibration, so i opted for this.....
I liked the Sony HD for these reasons got delivered within 24 hours by flipkart at Mumbai.
1. Very slick design,
2. With the help SONY transfer accelerator software, transfers data very fast.
cuts half the time.
For transferring 500mb data by usb2.0 normal time 30sec
if software installed in PC 16 sec ...

Hello people.
This is my second purchase after a seagate GoFlex 1TB.
These are the points i have taken in to consideration :
Pros:
1. Brand Name [ A brand company always tries to make good cum efficient products to keep its brand name, Sony has recently joined the HD- manufacturing category]
2. Gives a software that helps to increase transfer speed [ tested only on my usb 2.0]

Excellent product! Does its job well.

This drive is all you would expect it to be. Here are some points which others may not have covered:
1. Connecting cable is generously long and THICK. You will not be left with a non-performing cable for this one.
2. There are rubber bushes at the bottom which minimize all vibrations that may be transmitted to others. Vibrations are minimal in any case.
3. I bought the black color and coupled with the brushed aluminum finish, it does not heat up at all.

Nice Design , Medium-long Cable , Great Transfer Speed & Rarely gets heated
The Title says it all!! ....Go for it if you want fast data transfer speed as Software Data Transfer Accelerator comes with it. Design is cool and USB Cable is thick and medium-long...Price is good..I bought it for 4950 /- .Although could have got a much cheaper HD but I bought this bcoz of its Aluminium body therefore gets less heated.
I think paying 500 bucks extra as compared to other HDs I've used is worth!!

Great and affordable product
This is a very good product, much better than WD and Toshiba. Sony's products are always genuine and last longer.
I got this from ebay, however even Flipcart's price is good. The USB cable is pretty long and the finish of the HDD is great.
Sony's HDD is a better deal even if other HDDs are Rs. 200-300 cheaper.

So Cool ...
This was my very first ext hdd purchase and I must admit, I've hit gold ... Sadly 1TB is not enuf for me :P ... I'll be buying one more this week ...
But it works smoothly and doesn't heat up at all ... I transfered 800 GB of data and was using it non-stop for a day, still its as cool as a cucumber :) ...
And the Wooden Polish like Surface is Sexy :D ...

A:Hard disk supports but your mobile should be capable of handling 2TB data. Most of the mobiles with less than 64GB Storage can't support 2TB.
