If you keep a good track record of cameras in this range you might realize its nothing but just and update to the Sony's H-100. Though the price is increased by 2k more, the are some slight improvements in the features.

"No dedicated" button for Macro mode .. its auto macro ... this camera is for amateurs .. even if you want to be pro there is "no enough" features to play around ..

What a camera. The clarity of photos during night & the truck loads of modes just make the experience delighful.

For amateurs like me, it would take half an hour to get used to the basic functionalities.

I did not get a chance to click photos during the day, but I am sure it would surpass my expectation.

excellent picture quality..
video quality is also fine it automatically adjusts the focus based on the white balance and sound quality is also fine...I think no camera at this price can record digital sound.So don't take it as a disadvantage...

1.No Full HD,but 720 p just enough
2.Microphone is not stereo

Overall ,a good choice for shutter bugs but not recommended for videography

Why Sony ? : Comparatively Best in this PRICE RANGE < 15K, with 26x OPTICAL ZOOM 52x Digital Zoom & 20.1 MEGA PIXEL. Attractive Body and Easy to Handle & Use. Sony is known for its PICTURE QUALITY and BETTER OUTPUT.
The photos that I have taken which are far away say (700mts) are CRYSTAL CLEAR.

it was really worth ed to get this camera ... and it came with a sony bag, sony 4gb memory card and sony rechargeable battery ( set of 4 ) ... the pictures are clear and amazing ... completed worth ed for the price ... amazing ...

I bought this camera on Bengali New Year, so got it in 13000/- only. Absolutely awesome camera, very nice features. Picture quality is very good, I got many compliments for the pics I have taken with it. A person who loves photography but can't afford costly cameras, should go for this one. Value for money budget camera.
Good pictures, nice functions, easy to use, download, connect to PC.
Nice for beginners.

Cons:
The look and feel is a bit tacky.
The camera body seems a bit excessive for the limited electronics inside.

On the whole - it is value for money!
