Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 (Black, 1 GB)

The phone features 4-inch TFT screen with 65K colours and WVGA (480 x 854 pixel) resolution. The Timescape interface helps the user to check and send e-mails, text messages, and social media alerts for various contacts in a flowing design.

The Xperia X10 sports an 8.1 megapixel camera with video capturing at resolution of 720p and speed of 30 fps with continuous autofocus. The phone camera also facilitates additional features like image stabilization, geo-tagging, face and smile detection.

Design

Xperia X10 is a full TFT capacitive touchscreen handset with a scratch resistant surface. The phone has other features like accelerometer sensor for auto rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn off.

The handset features the shutter key and volume rocker, also a double zoom control on the right side of the phone. The top of the X10 hosts the 3.5 mm audio jack, power key and the microUSB 2.0 port. The earpiece is located above the display, towards the left is the ambient light sensor and right is the LED light.

Storage and Battery

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 has an internal memory of 1 GB and can be expanded up to 16 GB using a microSD card. The phone supports Li-Po 1500 mAh (BST-41) battery with a talk time of 10 hours in 2G and 8 hours in 3G. It also provides a standby time of 415 hours in 2G and 425 hours in 3G.

Connectivity and Features

The X10 can access Internet through GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi to do Google Search, look into Maps, access Gmail account, watch videos in YouTube, check Calendar and chat on Google Talk. Applications like Facebook and Twitter are also installed in the handset. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 supports document viewer which helps you to check your office documents even on the go. The A-GPS lets you keep on track while the DLNA feature lets you connect to other DLNA certified devices wirelessly to transfer media.
