Very crisp and high resolution sound output thanks to neodymium magnets. Low end is not emphasised but still it gives some punchy bass. It gives you very relaxed sound stage and great acoustic information. It separatea each and every instrument that is going on in a song and you can even hear the strings even better than other earphones like sennheiser cx180 or the jbl's. The only bad thing is high end frequacies are emphasised and very less mid range. Yet a good pair.
