SONY HDR-CX150E Camcorder Camera  (Black)

The Sony HDR-CX150E is a video camera, which can shoot videos at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD). The HDR-CX150E video camera has a 1.57 megapixel still camera and is powered by BIONZ image processor technology. The camera has a 1/4-inch Exmor R CMOS Sensor. This Sony Handycam supports MPEG-2 and AVCHD movie formats, Dolby Digital 2 channel audio format, and JPEG image format. The video camera also has speakers and built-in Electret condenser microphone with zoom function. The HDR-CX150E uses Electronic (SteadyShot with Active mode) image stabilization software.

This Sony Handycam weighs 210 g and has dimension of 50 x 56 x 114 mm. The 2.7-inch TFT Clear Photo LCD display has resolution of 230,000 dot pixels. HDR-CX150E has 16 GB of internal memory and external memory can be added using SD or SDHC memory card. Users can also use Memory Stick PRO Duo / PRO (High Speed) / PRO Duo (Mark2) / PRO-HG Duo. The HDR-CX150E Handycam comes with Sony NP-FV50 rechargeable Li-ion Battery.

Performance

This Handycam uses the Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 25x optical zoom lens which has focal length of 2.5 mm - 62.5 mm. The HDR-CX150E can zoom optically up to 25x and digitally up to 300x. The camera also has a built-in lens shield. The TTL Contrast detection Auto Focus can also be adjusted Manually. This Sony Handycam also has a Quick AF system, which allows users to fix the focus quickly. The video camera has Aperture range of F/1.8-2.6.

The Sony HDR-CX150E Handycam has Scene detection function and scene can also be selected from various modes such as Candle, Snow, Beach, Twilight mode, Sunset, Spotlight, Fireworks, Sunrise, Portrait mode, and Landscape. The video camera has Face detection and Smile detection features along with additional ones such as YouTube capture mode, Touchscreen controls and Backlight compensation. The HDR-CX150E also features iAuto mode, which select from 90 different settings to give better videos. In terms of connectivity, this Sony Handycam comes with 1 x Composite video/audio output, 1 x USB, 1 x HDMI output, 1 x S-Video output, 1 x Remote control, and 1 x Component video output. The Sony HDR-CX150E comes with a CD, which has Drivers & Utilities along with Sony Picture Motion Browser.
